* Ramzan Bashardost was born in 1965 in Qarabagh District, Ghazni Province of Afghanistan in a family of
* Government employees. He completed his primary and intermediate education in Qarabagh and later in

* Afghanistan for Iran. He finished high school in Iran and then immigrated to Pakistan.

Faiz Mohammed Hazara (1862/63–1929) was a Hazara historian, writer and intellectual, among the renowned
* group of Afghans seeking social and political changes in the country at the beginning of the 20th century.
* He was a member of what became known as Junbish-i Mashrutyat or The Constitutionalist Movement.
* Faiz Mohammed was the son of Sa'eed Mohammed Hazara of Ghazni province. He is perhaps best known
* for his five-volume history of Afghanistan, Sarajul Tawarikh, which provides one of the best references on
* nineteenth-century Afghan history. The book was written by the encouragement of the court of
* Habibullah Khan. He was a court clerk, initially, thus the title of Kateb( clerk) in his name.

Abdul Ali Mazari was the head and co-founder of Hezbi Wahdat. Hezbi Wahdat, is a Shia' political party
* that was formed from a coalition of several political parties after the Soviet withdrawal. The government
* of Iran is believed to have played a key role in its formation. Mazari considered his organization as one
* of the three main groups who played a key role in defeating the communist regime lead by Dr. Najibullah.
* Mazari was born in 1946, in the village of Nanwai, Charkent District, Balkh Province. He studied in
* private religious schools in Mazar-i-Shariff, Qum (Iran), and Najaf (Iraq). After the Soviet invasion of
* Afghanistan in 1979, Mazari founded the Nasr Party. When Wahdat was formed from the merger

Biography: A multi talented Artist, Dawood Sarkhosh was born in 1971 in the province of Urozgan in Central
* Afghanistan . He started to compose poetry at the age of 9 and play Dumbura and to sing at the age of 17.
* He studied the Hazaragi Danbura for a short period with the help of his elder brother Sarwar Sarkhosh,
* and studied Hamoonia/Accordion under the Pakistani composer the late Arbab Ali Khan – from the province
* of Sind . At a time when Afghan music had fallen into obscurity under the despotism of fundamentalists.
* USarkhosh revived the art by creating songs inspired by a sense of nationalism and suffering in exile.
* His songs were not commercial, they were artistic reflection of the nostalgia and the bitter taste of
* refugee life experienced by millions of Afghan refugees throughout the world. More....
Mohaqiq is the head and founder of the Wahdat-e-Mardum Afghanistan political party. He is currently
* a member of the Afghan parliament (Wolesi Jirga). Mohaqiq was also a vital member of the Islamic Unity
* Party (Hezb-e Wahdat-e Islami), headed by Abdul Karim Khalili. He also served as Planning Minister in
* the transitional government until he was allegedly fired in March 2004. Mohaqiq claims he was fired after
* announcing that he would be running in the 2004 presidential elections against Hamid Karzai, however,
* Karzai's spokesman denied he was fired and claimed Mohaqiq quit after a dispute with the Finance
* Minister (Ashraf Ghani). Mohaqiq stated that Karzai's administration was ethnically biased, and that
